the above beekeeper would scoop up said bees , place into packages and sell
to Yankee's.

I might add that displaced bees like above live a few days to a week and are
a nuisance around a bee farm. killing in a large operation is commonly done.

One method is a spray on the glass of the building doors. Not sure what the
spray is but very effective. The bees end up in a pile and then scooped &
fed to the chickens.

After the bees are gone (as above) the pallets of supers are placed in the
hot room.

Electric insect killers clog quickly in a large bee operation. Are expensive 
& short
lived.
