Most of those studies used levels higher than in nectar, some by a factor
of 20 or more. When realistic doses were used, there were no apparent
problems. The researchers had to up the dose to see what would happen.

It also could explain spring die-offs, because if bees eat the stuff all

I would think that with a constant source of pesticide in a hive that you
would see a continual die-off, not a crash in spring. It would be an all
year thing. However, you can get spring crashes with Varroa and virus as
well as fall crashes and winter die off.

One interesting thing about the neonics is that any symptom of hive failure
fits the narrative, sort of like global warming where it causes more snow,
less snow, warmer winters, colder winters... Neonics cause crashes in
spring, fall, winter and even when they are not present in the hive. The
symptoms are the same as CCD, Varroa, virus, nosema....so those elements
can be ignored. If your colonies die, it is the neonics.

More work needs to be done to confirm this, but the evidence is
mounting.

Completely agree with more work but would like to see the evidence. Please
remember that those who want them banned do not care about evidence.
