Pissy Bees"

That was our trigger to select for gentle bees. We raised queens from our
good tempered (A.m.m.) stocks and re-queened anything that had shown bad
temper (we assess colonies and score at every inspection). In doing so, we
killed many queens that had headed colonies that were very productive - in
fact some of our best - but the end result is good tempered bees with no
reduction in crop.

Best wishes
