Maybe I missed something, but I never noticed a "fierce reaction."  Seems
to me that there is a polite discussion going on with the normal nitpicking
that we expect on this List.

What I read was a relatively few members each explaining their take on the
subject, and detailing the options available.

I thought that one member's analogy to the dairy industry was an excellent
example of a good direction for us to head.  Another member detailed how he
has a zero tolerance policy and burns anything infected.  Others spoke of
sterilization of equipment.  Another made a legitimate financial case for
using legal antibiotic treatment (which although I personally wouldn't do,
I certainly found his arguments to be calm and legitimate).

This sort of polite and thorough discussion is what this List is all about,
and our members benefit from hearing all sides!  There are no "final words"
in any discussion on this List.
