 In Hindu culture, the honey from *Apis florea* (the dwarf honey bee)
represents “the blendedness of everything” and is served with other
ingredients in a variety of traditional ceremonies

Honey is also gathered from the giant honey bee, *Apis dorsata.*

I suspect that they are referring to those two species.
