Friend in Ontario,

  SIMPLIFIED HONEYPOP
  RECIPE

  1. After I made a batch
  of red cherry honey pop
  yesterday (yum, yum), I
  checked the label.

  2. Front:
  Wines Inc.,
  Soft Drink Flavoring Extract
Wines Inc. - Akron Ohio 44310
  2 fl. oz. $2.25
  Contains natural & artificial flavoring.

  3. Back: PROCESSES
Wines Inc. Extracts may be mixed
in two ways. Process one is for
those who wish their soda with as little
fuss as possible. Process two is for
the connoisseur and produces a delight-
ful beverage as well as providing an
   interesting project. (Try both.)

   PROCESS ONE.
Make the Syrup: Dissolve nine cups
   of sugar [horribile scriptu!] or
two pounds of honey [mirabile lectu!]
in 4-1/4 cups hot water. Add one
bottle Wines Inc. Extract and stir.
(Will keep well in a cool place.)
To make one (1) glass: Use 2-3
  tablespoons of syrup (your preference)
for each 8-oz glass of soda to be made.
You may use either club soda or tap
  water.

  PROCESS TWO.
Natural carbonation is fun to do and
good for you. Dissolve nine cups of
sugar [m.s!] in 4-3/4 gallons of luke-
warm water. Add one bottle of Wines
Inc. Extract. Put 1/2 teaspoon champage
yeast in one cup war water, lest stand
five minutes and pour into mixture,
stir and bottle. Do not exceed the
amount of sugar given above as this would
cause excessive pressure in the bottles
and an unsafe condition [i.e., flying
shrapnel]. Store bottles in warm place
upright for 6-10 days. Chill and enjoy.

  END OF LABELS

  4. CAUTION: I would never use
  glass, only plastic. TOO DANGEROUS!

  Buena suerte.
