Richard>Yes, I clearly understand that a bee with African mitochondria says there is an unbroken maternal line back to Africanized stock.  But, by itself that knowledge is meaningless.

Ok- can you offer what kind of DNA analysis would confirm and that a colony is Africanized if, for some reason, one needed to know?
