Braula coeca is a fly (wingless). It is known as the bee louse. The
fly ride on the the honey bees and take food at the bee mouthparts.
The maggots live under the wax capping in tunnels and feed on pollen
and honey.

I don't know if Braula coeca is the
same mite found on Bombus in the
