<I didn't notice the heart shape until after reading Jim's response.>

I'm reasonably sure I could do a better job at guiding shapes if I wanted a heart or some other recognizable form.

Some years ago, we hauled 50 two-story colonies to MD for a research project. We weren't used to early season, major flows, so we misjudged when we'd need honey supers. Adding to the problem,
UPS managed to lose and mangle the next shipment, which were 50 honey supers. Needless to say, we were late getting them on, and the boxes went on right above the brood nest, right in the midst of the May nectar flow. We had lots of starbursts, odd shapes. Combs were basically parallel, but seldom straight. In fact, I don't think a single one was straight.
