There are plenty of people who want to make Bayer and Monsanto out to be the paragons of evil. I am not one of those. As I wrote on this forum two years ago:

This indicates Permanent Threshold, which means that the difference between what was made and what might have been lost is moot, because the product's use is firmly in place.
