  I myself intend to wait for a serious hit perhaps 50% hive mortality before
I run for the latest organophosphate.  As for spring feeding it is quite
simple if you want honey from maples through dandylions in the northeastern
USA you feed early to get hive strength booming. If you just want ornamental
bees you don't need to feed.
