In this age of high tech and continual advances in technology, I personally
enjoy that my beekeeping practices are little changed since Langstroth's
time (other than having motorized vehicles and varroa). I like my "old
school" connection to my land, woodlot, garden, orchard, and bee hives and
have little inclination to go high tech (although remote monitors for my
yards would have helped a great deal this spring).
