Wooden cell cups are great to use in grafting queens. They give you a nice
base to grab on to when putting your cells out into mating nucs and can be
reused over and over. You also need however either some wax cell cups or
molded plastic cups in which to graft young larvae. If you go with the
plastic cups, allow the bees to polish them and deposit a "scent" on them
before you graft. (I would suggest leaving the plastic cups with the bees
for at least 12 - 24 hours). This step is usually not necessary if you use
the wax cell cups. goos luch and enjoy.
