Eugene pointed out that the objections I posted from the high school debate guide to golden rice could be objected to.


That is why there are debates!  Nothing we do is perfect and we debate in order to decide which solution has the most "pros" and the least "cons".

<http://www.goldenrice.org/Content3-Why/why3_FAQ.php#Donation>When I said some of us have "selective objection" to GMO products, golden rice is an example of one I don't object to, because in balance this product appears to be doing no harm.  (Whether it actually improves the health of the consumers is another question)  But there are other GMO products that concern me greatly.
