Randy, you might try some place that sells homeopathic products. Ipecac is a fairly common remedy. If you can get the 'mother tincture', it will be a distillation of the ipecac root in alcohol and water. I spoke to a woman at Thompson's Homeopathy in Toronto, who told me they didn't have the tincture. I'm not sure if she wasn't saying that because she didn't want to sell it, since it is after all a poison. On a related note, it appears the pharmacies have stopped carrying it because it was being abused by bulimics. But someone must have it, or the root itself.
