I've heard somewhere that once used, the plastic queen cell cups for the Jenter kit cannot be reused.  What are the thoughts of all of you out in BEE-L land?  I was thinking of boiling the cells gently to get rid of all wax and pheromones and then relining them with a layer of beeswax.

First time I tried using the kit, the queen laid in almost 90% of the cups, a lot more than I could utilize at the time.  The last time I had to make a makeshift cover for the kit and wasn't able to keep the queen in the cage.  I now have the cover that fits and am tooling up for another go at queen rearing.  Any suggestions, advice, experiences would be appreciated.

BTW, it's raining out now.  Has been since yesterday afternoon, off and on.  Should be great for the blooms after things have dried out and the nectaries have had a chance to fill up again.   Located 1/2 way between Montgomer and Mobile, Alabama.
