Well REAL honey and REAL pollen used with no treatments contaminating has been used for centuries for redoing livestock's guts and humans too for centuries for better health..............though I think in this case contaminated combs would have to be changed out also to more sustainable sizing, for better foraging adjustments then gained,  for gaining more variable  microbes too in various nectar/pollen gathered.
