I used to have this info written down but lost it, now I cannot find it anywhere, not even in the archives.
 
Question:  How much sugar, as a "dry-weight" percentage, is found in type-55 HFCS?  How much does a gallon of HFCS weigh?
 
We've been having a club talk on the economics of making our own sucrose (which we can pick up for 44 cents a pound) against buying HFCS which varies in price every day.
