I need advice on feeding syrup in zip loc baggies.  I was told to fill a gallon zip loc half full and place over the cluster with holes on the top.

Bob,
I have used gallon zip lock baggies.   I filled them up pretty full with syrup, placed them on top of the frames, and then sliced about a two to three inch slice in the top with a razor blade.   For whatever reason, only a few drops of syrup exuded from the slice, the rest remained inside the bag.   Went back a few days later and the bag had been emptied.  I found no evidence that the syrup had dripped out.  Once, I opened before the bag was emptied and the bees were lined up along the slice working it pretty hard.   Good luck.
