"Just as the tobacco companies glamorized smoking without
disclosing known health risks, the commercial food producers
play the same games of deception. Pesticide registrants
 included."

I really think the Big Tobacco argument is a non sequitur. Just because tobacco companies lied about the dangers of smoking doesn’t mean everyone else lies about their products. Yet it has become fashionable in recent years to shut off otherwise reasonable discussions by citing Big Tobacco. Not saying that pesticide companies are innocent, just wondering what it has to do with cigarettes.

You say honey is actually good for me? Well, Big Tobacco said for years that cigarettes were good for me. Why should I believe you?
