I seem to recall someone also posting (on beesource if I remember
correctly) that it had virtually no effect on capped brood, thus this
papers emphasis on packages or broodless periods.  Some people were
experimenting with 3 applications at one week intervals to catch most of
the mites after emergence.  Maybe my thinking is flawed here, but it seems
to me that that long of a treatment period could lead to faster resistance.
