One of the things that I really enjoy about beekeeping is that it is one of
the few industries where folk still do business as friends on handshake
agreements. I get to know the owners of my yards, watch their kids grow up,
do them favors, and feel like family. That is a joy to me to which a
contract would be an anathema.
