I have often wondered if heat applied to the feeder during early spring
stimulative feeding would not be a plus.
It seems it would be easy to do with a surplus photovoltaic panel and a
cartidge heater in the syrup.
While it would only heat while the sun was shining it could be modified to
charge a battery and heat longer.
