Found the following story while looking for a story on cider. Basically
covers mites and their treatment, geared towards the general public, but I
found it interesting.

Still haven't had a freeze here yet, but the cold rainy weather has slowed
down all activity. We have had more rain in the last week, then we had all
summer, 5+ inches.
