Hi Bill and All

I use 9 frames in both brood and honey boxes.  Some years ago an ABJ  
article stated that consistent frame spacing  from top to bottom of  
the hive improved ventilation.  I use permanently installed frame  
spacers in all honey supers but not in the brood boxes.
