I agree with Jerry's statement. May be in their srudy. For the past several years we monitored nosema in Alberta . We have significant evidence to show Nosmea impacts colonies during winter. In fact most of the impact occurs in the later part of winter. If we have a deficating flight in February/March, the impact will be less. If there is no deficating flight, it is a big problem.
