Esteemed beekeepers,

I've seen several mentions of flavoring the sugar water before spraying
one's bees.
This seems logical enough. But no-one has ever mentioned how much
flavoring (say
vanilla for arguments sake) to use. 1 drop per pint?...two drops...three?

I am preparing to make splits before long and would appreciate any
suggestions.
