I wonder if Ithaca and vicinity is anomalous in the Northeast vis-a-vis fall swarming. We don't normally see much fall swarming in the St. Lawrence Valley. I have books and books of management notes from commercial beeks that never mention problems with swarming in the fall during the 30's through the 70's. What do others notice?
