You forgot, or didn't know, that Friday was also the opening day of deer
season. Which is the most often given reason for why people I talk to don't
attend ESHPA's Friday meeting date.

The opening day of dear season was not Friday. Opening day of the regular
(gun) dear season in NYS in the southern zone was Saturday November 16 and
in the northern zone October 26, Suffolk County Jan 6 and Westchester
County October 1. Bow season was generally around or at the beginning of
October
