I could have worded that better.  Humberto was referring to beekeeping professionals who are retaining him as a consultant.

Agreed.  And healthy skeptism is always good form.  Humberto was speaking as a scientist, and puzzeled as to why his clients were quick to "deligitimize" what was in his view valid science.
