Hi All

A recent article in Ontario Farmer stated that over 200 reports of
bee deaths in Ontario that were investigated by PMRA inspectors seem
to link treated corn seeding to the incidents. Bayer spokesperson
responded that other issues with bees, varroa for example, were the
probable causes of the die-offs. He also stated that these deaths
were isolated to Ontario as there were very few reports from the US
corn belt of similar problems in spite of the fact that the US corn
belt is far larger than the area in Ontario. I tried to find the
article that was forwarded to me but was unsuccessful.
