There are a few of us successfully sustaining beeyards off treatments here in northern Alabama with bees derived from feral cut outs.

Genetic testing has not been performed on these bees so it's not possible to say that they have the M mitotype, but I believe there is a decent chance that they might.

The bees are offered for sale, but mostly locally and on a small scale.

So far, the ones I have sold are performing well for those that have purchased them.
