We practice IPM, using breeding, biotechnical
methods
Some might argue that GMO is a biotechnical IPM method. Certainly, when
the first biopesticides such as Nosema locusta for grasshopper control, it
was thought of as IPM - use a natural pathogen, no chemicals. Modifying the
plant to do the same, next step in the evolution of the biopesticide
concept.
