Thank you Sir for the reply. The smoke that I use is what has led me to this point and line of questions. I have not used pine chips but instead use a mixture of grass clippings and loose bulk thyme. I take high resolution pictures of the frames that I pull and so far have only found two mites in the brood cells. Is it good queens, the a-Terpineol in the thyme, or just luck?
