I was wondering if putting a barrier of Diatomaceous earth also known as
diatomite or kieselgur would keep red ants from entering the bee yard. I've
heard of using it around the foundation of a house to keep out invasive insects
but don't know if it would be effective out in the open. It would seem not to
interfere with the bees since they can fly over it. Thanks. Bill Morgan
