As a general note, it is usually a bad idea to connect anything designed
for 12V to a 6V system.  The reduced Voltage causes the devices to draw
more current and burn out or overheat.  Assuming the vaporizers have a
resistive heating element, there is no real danger of damaging the device
itself, but at 6V you are reducing the wattage output to 25% of its rated
output at 12V.  Wattage=Voltage^2/Resistance.  This why it is taking longer
for the OA to sublimate when running it at 6V.
