Hi,
On the use of Fumidil B for mosema control.
Recommendations from the U fo MN are to use fumidil B in the first
sugar syrup fed to packages in the spring  - this is to protect the
queen from nosema and really does reduce supersedure.
In the fall and colony to be overwintered should be fed 2 US gal of
2:1 sugar syrup with fimidil B to prevent nosema problems  the
following late winter and spring.  These recommendations are based on
research conducted in MN by the late Dr Furgala.
