In response to the query about the "FDA Consumer" magazine article, I
searched the FDA website to see if the info was there.... it wasn't, but I
did find an interesting story about the successful 1997 prosecution
(and jailing) of two producers of bogus "honey" and syrups from
Mississippi. "They" do get the bad guys once in a while! I'm sure
that the jail time doesn't even come close to balancing out the
economic damage they caused, however. Check out
