I have 2 hive bodies and a medium super
with a bottom, top, and inner cover,
undrawn waxed plastic frames to fill all
the boxes when the time is right.

I also have a bordman feeder,
a 1/2 gallon jug with feeder holes cut in the top
and a tray feeder.

My question: after the bees arrive and I install
them in one of the hive bodies
with 10 undrawn frames,
HOW MUCH should food should I put in the hive
before closing the top for the first time?

And should I also feed pollen patties?
