I won't become a Certified one for many reason, but apart from that
this bias surprised me ...

Appendix I – Allowed and Prohibited Substances

Prohibited Substances for CNG Beekeeping

- Bee Go
- Pollen Patties which are home-made and contain vegetable oil (a
grease patty), or other
non-pollen protein sources, such as but not limited to Brewer’s yeast,
egg yolk, any flour
(corn meal, soy flour, potato flakes, etc.), or any milk product,
including whey protein.

Allowed Substances for CNG Beekeeping

- Fischer’s Bee Quick
- Pollen Patties which are home-made and contain only the CNG
beekeeper’s collected pollen,
water, and white granulated cane sugar
- Pollen Substitutes – Commercial only, not home-made (Bee-Pro, Brood
Builder, Ener-G-Plus
Bee Diet, Feed-Bee, MegaBee, Ultra Bee)
