Randy, the quote you posted was:

What "unbiased facts" are being stated?  That regardless of what Jeff Pettis is reporting in a study that Dr. Little hasn't read, it is "not being seen in the field"?  How does Dr. Little know if he doesn't know what the "interesting effects" are?  This is pure opinion on Dr. Little's part...opinion that he admits isn't based on knowing the facts (he certainly doesn't seem to have read the Pettis study).

I agree with you...but Dr. Little is identified as a spokesman for Bayer.  Any spokesman for any organization has a job to do...which is to do their best to make their employer look good.  There is a HUGE difference between a statement (such as the one you quoted) made by an independent scientist and one made by a corporate spokesperson.
