Hi Steve,

Frames are toys for beekeepers to play with.

Worker cells are about 5/8" deep. This means that 

the width of this part of the comb is about 1 and 1/4" wide.

Why would you want to increase it by about 1/4"? 3/8"?

Sounds silly to me to rob each brood chamber of 10 percent of 

brood rearing capacity.

Oh well, to each his own opinion, right or not.
