Hi Phil

Many thanks. All I can say is that I am very happy with progress so far. In
5 years we have reduced stinging to an insignificant level (perhaps a dozen
stings last year from 150 colonies), crop has increased from just under
70lbs average to 100lbs; feed bills have reduced dramatically - each colony
now get around 10lbs sugar equivalent (in the form of fondant) - and
inspections are so easy with just a single brood box.

Now we plan to concentrate on hygienic behaviour in the hope that we can
reduce varroa treatment from our current 2 or 3 doses of 8g thymol per
annum.

Best wishes

Peter
