you might try to track down Margriet Wyborn through the simon fraser
university (burnaby,b.c.) bee lab c/o dr. Mark Winston. she was doing work
there on bumblebees a few years ago and I understand she spun off a
commercial pollination venture...she used to go to bellingham to participate
in folk dancing circles, so you could maybe meet halfway so to speak...good
luck on your quest.
