I saw your bobbie pin idea at a supplier Bob
that won't hold things in my larger extractor - good idea for 2-4 frame
jobbies
I'm interested in filling a certain # of frames period.
Some outside of bee-l have pointed out that thicker means the bees have
more to draw out
from and use less of their own
Well on that premise, depending on the source of wax, more of the same will
surround the contents that the frame finally holds,
For me it's exactly what it is, a foundation
I like the idea of the bees building as much of the final product as
possible  - purity if I may call it that.
So it seems some out there who are running less hives and prefer wax
foundation as I do in the honey supers ( and only vertically wired in the
brood chambers )
have more money to spend on more wax per sheet than those of us who like to
keep track our money  and get the most bang for the buck.
