>How are things with the Russian queens. Acceptance problems?

I just heard Eric Mussen (UC Davis) remark that there were three strains,
one of which had serious acceptance problems. I called Taber Bee Genetics
(Northern CA), and they'd had acceptance problems. They have bred the
Russian with their Yugo, and had fewer problems, improved to 70%
acceptance. The best results were with packages which included a Russian
queen, with only one rejection last season.
