Beekeepers:

Listed in latest edition of The Hive and the Honey Bee, on page 1230, are
the death rates in the U.S. from various causes. Honey bee stings were
listed last in frequency. Overexertion killed more people, as did
lightning, horseback riding, freezing, and radon gas, to list just a few.
Some of the numbers listed are from the Vital Statistics of the United
States (1986).
