FYI almond pollinators:

Two powerful weather systems are going to slam into California this
week--the first cold, the second likely warm.

There will be no travel over the summit at Truckee--winds perhaps well over
100 mph and up to 10 ft of snow!

The wet soil and strong winds could cause serious damage in almond orchards.

A potential major hazard exists for any hives in holding yards in low-lying
areas. Should a "pineapple express" melt the fresh snow toward the end of
the week, areas of the Valley could see serious flooding. The last time
this happened, some areas of the Valley were up to 30 ft under water!
