Thanks for the tip, Tim!  I saw some boxes a few months ago that had been
dipped in 30% microcrystalline with paraffin of unknown m.p. and left in
the weather for 7 years.  They looked great--could still feel waxiness on
the surface.  With my paraffin/rosin, the box surfaces start to look pretty
"dry" by then.

Tim, do you paint over your wax, or leave plain?
