After reading John Sawyers query re: localized lines I was reminded of an article I read concerning the possible effects of last fall's hurricanes  on the feral bee population in Puerto Rico.It seems that a gentile strain of AHB has evolved.

Does anyone have experience with these bees?Are there any import restrictions on bringing these bees to the mainland?
